Maintenance on a filer with FCP connections...

    When rebooting a filer that has SAN connections via FCP what is the
    "proper" procedure? Should all LUNs be unmounted from their respective
    systems first? Is a sync all that's required or is that even necessary?

    We have a few oracle databases on netapp LUNs and I need to upgrade the
    os and reboot. Just didn't want to shoot myself in the foot.
