I believe there is a third difference as well.
Eurologic does not provide the applicable Netapp firmware revisions for the
drives.
This means you are using uncertified third party product to store your
companies information.
Good luck when your filer blows up and you try to open a case with Netapp
using UCE supplied drives.

This product carries a THREE-YEAR Eurologic warranty. In addition, Union

to the Eurologic warranty.
Network Appliance accepts "genuine" used NetApp gear for hardware service
contract; on the other hand, whether they will accept new "Eurologic-direct"
product is still in question. However, we believe that the three-year
Eurologic warranty with advance exchange will meet the requirements of many
Netapp users.
